George Lakoff, Ph. D. ist nach Stationen an der Harvard University und der University of Michigan heute Professor für kognitive Wissenschaft und Linguistik an der University of California, Berkeley und Kodirektor des Neural Theory of Language Project am dortigen International Computer Science Institute. Er ist Mitglied des Center for Advanced Study in Behavioural Sciences und des Santa Fe Institute. George Lakoff hat zahlreiche Publikationen veröffentlicht.
